THIS EXCHANGE We will be learning about Pretzels. Movements based on hand and arm exchange always of course guided by the feet and core and signaling when head movement is appropriate and when it is not. These moves provided and guided by Igor Fraga will be sure to add variation and surprise to your dancing element,,,, So be sure to get on this Months exchange!!!

So you have already taken Foundational Elements of Brazilian Zouk and have gone to some festivals/congresses and have taken some private lessons and social dance like it's going outta style, yet you are looking for more to level up your dancing.
ZenZouk is proud to present Master Level workshop series where ZenZouk or visiting International/National Instructors will provide master level instruction on specialty topics you may not have access to at regular classes. Use of a skeleton to understand anatomical placement and alignment will be used to enhance a students learning and a Q/A, demo, and hands on feedback will be presented. **Please note Mr. Skely is not available until March. This will either be an instructor led topic or a topic picked via you tube by the student.  Topics can include the following:

1) Advanced Turn Patters
2) Counter Balance Techniques
3) Men's and Lady's Styling
4) Advanced Footwork technique and
5) Partner Dynamics and Stabilization
6) Off Axis and On Axis Turns and concepts
7) Flow | Connection | Concept

On occasion the Zouk Exchange may sponsor  International instructors during this workshop and provide MASTER  LEVEL instruction based on their topic of choice.  We will be working closely with these instructors on providing advanced detailed topics.

☯ Igor Fraga

Igor Fraga, originally from Minas Gerais - Brasil, started his zouk journey in 2012 based in New York. He trained as a Zouk NY instructor and has taught weekly classes in NY and LA in the past. Previously based in San Francisco and always looking to do his best, he collects awards from various competitions being the first Lead in North America to reach the Advanced level in Jack N Jill competitions. He’s also responsible in leading the Dare 2 Zouk program at NYC Zouk Festival, which offers a full on immersion and training in the fundamentals of the dance. He has taken trainings overseas and many instructors worldwide.

PREREQUISUTES
YOU MUST HAVE taken Braziilian Zouk Fundamentals and classes under below level 2. You MUST be able to follow or lead in these classes. The purpose of these series of workshops is to LEVEL UP your dancing as well as your knowledge. Practice practice practice and feedback will be provided : )
